Living Timber will discuss your specific requirements and suggest the best surfacing type to meet your school's individual needs. We offer a wide range of surfacing, including safety surfacing, which meet all current safey regulations of BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177.
Bonded rubber can be laid to large surface areas such as playgrounds or kept to smaller areas beneath certain play structures or pieces of equipment. Our surfacing is available in various thicknesses to meet individual needs and in a large range of bright colours, which can be laid as creatively as you would like. Bold and bright blocks, fun splashes, jigsaw pieces and various pattern designs add colour and a whole new dimension to your play areas.
Brightly coloured rubber mulch is a great and fun alternative to dull concrete pathways. Gravel, wood chip and wet pour also make great pathways and access areas.
Safety surfacing to absorb impact must be fitted beneath and around play equipment, which has a free fall height of more than 0.6m.
